Padraig’s ambition is to see Connexicon Medical develop and grow in the market and to build Trusted Partnerships with all customers. In doing so, Connexicon Medical will support customers in the provision of creative and quality product solutions.
Éadaoin Ledwidge
Research & Development Director
Éadaoin is a recognised expert in Ireland on Cyanoacrylates and is the inventor of a number of patents in this area.
Éadaoin previously worked in Henkel for sixteen years in the Adhesives and Sealants division specialising predominantly in the wound closure market.
Éadaoin is a highly motivated person with a reputation for achieving her goals. She is a driver and influencer in the Industry.
Martin Brennan
Quality & Regulatory Affairs
Director
Martin has worked in the Medical Device sector since 2001 and has completed projects in a variety of areas including Engineering, Quality, Validation and Regulatory.
He has previously worked in Henkel Biomedical and Tyco Healthcare/Covidien and has achieved a number of performance-related awards in these roles as well as Lead Auditor, Six Sigma and CQE certification.
David Chapman
Finance Director
David is a highly experienced businessman. Over 40 years, he has been Chairman of a wide variety of Irish businesses ranging from Manufacturing, Distribution, Gaming and Technology.
He is the former Managing Partner of the accountancy firm Mazars and for many years was Head of their Corporate Finance division.
He is a recognised specialist in Buying and Selling Businesses and raising Finance. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Danny Heungens

Director
Danny has 20 years of experience in Medical Device Industries. He had several functions in sales and Marketing within CR. Bard and started up his own company in Medical Device Distribution.
In 2017 with the next capital round he decided to invest in Connexicon Medical and develop new future business projects. Danny is recognised as a partner for many surgeons in the field of Hernia Repair.

Dr Cormac Kilty
Chairman
Cormac is a Biotech Entrepreneur retired from executive functions; managing a biotech investment portfolio and involved with two Angel Investment groups in Ireland.
He was voted one of the top 100 influential Ireland-US business leaders by 'Business and Finance' in 2007 and 2008 and was awarded the U.S.-Ireland Biolink award for contribution to Irish Life Sciences in 2007.
